Sony announced two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers for Grand Theft Auto VI on September 3, 2026. Both launch on November 19 — the same day the game ships. Pre-orders opened September 10.
They are the first official GTA VI hardware accessories to be announced. This is what each one is, where to find them, and the availability detail that matters.
What they are
Two cosmetic variants of the standard DualSense wireless controller. Same hardware inside: haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, built-in microphone and speaker, USB-C charging, Bluetooth, compatible with PS5, PC, Mac, Android, and iOS. These are not DualSense Edge controllers. They do not have back buttons, swappable sticks, or adjustable trigger travel. The DualSense Edge is a separate controller priced at $199.99.
The difference is on the surface. Both have a shimmering iridescent color-shifting finish, textured palm leaf details molded into the grip, and official GTA VI branding. The design splits by time of day.
Black Limited Edition. Vice City at night. Black shell, iridescent finish that shifts color in the light.
White Limited Edition. Vice City at daybreak. White shell, pastel-toned iridescent finish.
No functional difference between them. The choice is which one you prefer to look at.
Where to find them
This is the part that matters and that most coverage does not break down.
The White edition is available at PlayStation Direct and at participating retailers. In the US that includes Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart, and Target. In India it is listed on Amazon.
The Black edition has restricted distribution. In countries where PlayStation Direct operates (including the US, UK, France, Germany, and several other European markets), the Black edition is sold through direct.playstation.com. In markets where PlayStation Direct is not available, it is sold through select retailers. When we checked on September 21, Amazon India listed the Black edition and Amazon US did not.
If you are in the US and want the Black edition specifically, PlayStation Direct is your path. Plan accordingly.

What this is not
This is not the DualSense Edge, which is a different controller with different hardware features at a different price. It is not a PS5 console bundle; no GTA VI console bundle has been announced. And it does not include a copy of Grand Theft Auto VI. The game is a separate purchase.
The controller does not include any in-game content, bonus items, or early access. It is a controller with a limited-edition finish.
