Privacy Policy

This page explains what information we collect when you visit PixelMorrow, and how it's used.

Analytics

We use Umami, a cookieless analytics tool, to understand overall traffic — pages visited, general location by country, and referral source. Umami doesn't set a tracking cookie or build a personal profile of you, and doesn't share data with ad networks. We don't use Google Analytics on this site.

Email addresses you give us

Two places on this site ask for an email address, and they are separate things.

Free resources. Downloading a free printable asks for an address so the file stays yours: the link is handed to you on the page, and the address is what lets you ask for a new one once that link expires. We send you nothing for a free download. Giving it to us does not put you on any mailing list. The newsletter box on those pages is optional, starts unticked, and leaving it alone still gets you the file.

The newsletter. Subscribing at /newsletter/ stores your address along with the date you consented and which form you used. We only store this because you ticked a box asking for it. We never add an address to the newsletter for any other reason, and we do not sell, rent or share it.

Leaving. Every newsletter email carries an unsubscribe link that works without signing in to anything, and you can also unsubscribe here. Unsubscribing stops the newsletter and changes nothing else: any resource you have already downloaded stays yours.

Addresses are stored in Cloudflare D1, on the same infrastructure that serves this site. The one email this site sends by itself is the unsubscribe link, when you ask for it on the unsubscribe page; it goes out through Resend, which processes the address only to deliver that message. The newsletter itself is sent by Substack.

Contact

If you email us, we see your address and whatever you send. We use it only to reply to you, and we don't add it to a mailing list or share it with anyone else. Reach us at [email protected].

YouTube trailers

The Trailers section on The World loads thumbnail images from YouTube's servers when the page loads, and, if you press play, a YouTube player in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube may process standard technical data as part of that, under Google's own privacy terms.

Hosting and infrastructure

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Site images are pre-optimized and served as static files alongside the rest of the site, not through a separate image service. Cloudflare may process standard technical data, like your IP address, as part of delivering the site to you, under their own privacy terms.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
